Engel & Völkers first took root in fertile South African soil in 2000 with the establishment of a head office in Cape Town under Christian Völkers. In 2003 the roll-out into the rest of the country commenced under Niël
Cronje and Mathias Bode, resulting in the establishment of a second head office in Pretoria.
